3rd Annual Walworth County 4-H Bowling Tournament
January 11, 12, 18, & 19, 2014 at 12:30 p.m.
Lake Geneva Lanes and Hawks Bowl in Whitewater
Cost: $5/person or $25/team
Join us for the 3rd Annual Walworth County 4-H Bowling Tournament! Club reservations will be accepted from general leaders or designated bowling coordinators on a first call, first reserve basis. Please complete the Bowling Registration Packet and turn it in to the Walworth County Extension Office no later than January 3rd along with payment for your club teams. At this time you will be able to reserve your lanes. Registration and lanes reservations will not be accepted without payment.
Some fun, unique incentives are lined up for this year’s event! Check out the Bowling Registration Packet for more information. If you have questions about the bowling tournament, please call the Extension office or any member of the bowling committee.
4-H Missions in Space: Boldly go where other 4-H’ers fear to tread…
Space Camp is a fun-filled, educational weekend at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Participants will depart Thursday morning, April 24, 2014 and return Monday, April 28. During the weekend, they will complete a simulated Space Shuttle mission, experience training simulators, tour the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, and learn about becoming an astronaut. Were You in 4-H?
Walworth County’s 4‐H Centennial Committee is collecting information about alumni for the 100th anniversary of 4-H! If you were a Walworth County 4‐H alumni, or you are now a Walworth County resident who grew up in 4‐H elsewhere, they’d love to hear from you! Complete the Were You in 4-H? form and mail it to the UW‐Extension office at 100 W. Walworth Street, PO Box 1001, Elkhorn, WI 53121, or email the info to firstname.lastname@example.org with “4‐H ALUMNI” in the subject line. If you registered as an alumni during the 2013 Walworth County Fair, there’s no need to do it again.
