The Walworth County Junior and Senior Leaders’ Associations & county 4-H Awards Committee will be hosting an informal cake reception preceding the April business meetings to honor the many 4-H volunteers who have shaped our county program over the years and subsequently stepped down from their posts.

The 2015 Walworth County 4-H Drama Fest will be held on Sunday, April 26, at Elkhorn Area High School, beginning at 1:00pm. All acts must pre-register using the 2015 Drama Fest Entry Form. Registration for this event is FREE! Refer to the Judge Score Sheet for guidelines that the judges will be using to critique performances. Please note that there will be a short evaluation that will take place directly after the routine. The judges will send their full comments to the directors at a later date.
Drama Fest entry forms are due in the UW-Extension office by 5:00pm on Friday, April 10, 2015.
It’s that time again to start thinking about your club team for the annual 4-H Softball League. For more information, including how to sign up, please read Softball Info 2015. Completed rosters, assumption of risk forms, 4Honline.com health forms, and payment are due by April 15 to the UW-Extension office no later than 5:00pm.

This event is open to all Walworth County 4-H members, regardless of what projects you’ve enrolled in. Only youth enrolled in the communications and real world fair projects will be eligible for premium money.
If you are enrolled in the Communications, Consumer Savvy, Creative Writing, Entrepreneurship, or Speaking projects, this is the PRE-FAIR judging experience for your project area. Compete now. Then, register for the corresponding classes at the Walworth County Fair to receive your exhibit premium money and awards.

Farm Safety Contest
Walworth County Farm Bureau is presenting an opportunity for Walworth County high school students interested in agriculture to create an educational video on one of the following subjects relating to farm safety:
- Tractor & PTO Safe Operations
- Chemical Dangers
- Fire Prevention
- Livestock Handling
- Skid Steer Safe Operation
