Get ready for the 2018 summer tractor safety course! WISCONSIN ACT 455 requires any youth under the age of 16 to hold a certificate of safety training in order to operate a tractor on any public road. This course meets that requirement! Kenosha and Racine UW-Extension is offering this year’s 24 hour program designed to teach tractor and general farm safety.
The event will be held at the Burlington High School and is open to any youth between the ages of 12-16. Participants will be able to follow class instruction as well as hands-on driving instruction following a written and driving exam. Cost is $50 a person and the course will be held on June 18-20 & 22, 2018 from 9AM-3 PM.
